Jeryc Garcia's photography career began when he was an award-winning advertising creative, and continued throughout the time he was founding editor of the Philippine edition of Rodale's Men's Health magazine. As an independent creative professional, he is also involved in projects that require creative direction and visual design. As a photographer, Jeryc has created images for various local and international publications. His images have been showcased at the Angkor Photo Festival in Siem Reap, Cambodia and at the PDN PhotoPlus Expo in New York City. His work has also received positive feedback from the likes of National Geographic and Magnum photographer David Alan Harvey. He recently completed a documentary on the days in the life of urban Filipino women for Unilever and is now touring his portraits of surviving Filipino WWII veterans in the United States in an exhibit called VALOR. Jeryc is currently based in Manila, Philippines and is available for editorial, institutional, commercial, and art commissions anywhere in the world. |
